Tap Unblock on an app, a website or a whole list, and it comes back 48 hours later. Your phone reminds you before it does, and you can keep it blocked until then. No code, PIN or request to us shortens the wait.

A factory reset removes it right away, and erases everything on the phone.
You pick what's blocked. A few things never are.
Any app except the few below, from TikTok to a game you haven't installed yet. Websites too, one at a time or as ready-made lists: social media, adult sites, gambling, shows and movies, news front pages, endless sites and browser games. Nothing is blocked until you pick it. Calls, messages, the camera, maps, banking and tap-to-pay are never blocked.
Setup takes a computer and your phone's cable, once.
You sign in on our website, plug in the phone, pick your blocks, and the page sets up Finite Phone in about 5 to 10 minutes. You sign out of your accounts for setup and back in after, and nothing on the phone is wiped. Afterwards your lock screen says the phone belongs to Finite Phone, and Settings says it's managed.

Can I turn it off?
There's no off switch on the phone. You remove Finite Phone on your account page. It comes off the phone 48 hours later. You can change your mind any time before then. A factory reset also removes it right away, and erases everything on the phone. Cancelling your subscription is separate. It stops the renewal. When your paid year ends, Finite Phone comes off the phone 48 hours later.
Which phones does it work on?
Android phones: a Pixel 6 or newer on Android 14 or newer. We're adding Samsung Galaxy phones next. Not iPhones.
Are there apps I can't block?
A few, on every phone: Phone, Messages, Contacts, Camera, Clock, Calendar, Calculator, Files and Settings, plus Google Play, the browser, and the apps Google Play files under Finance, Medical, Health and Fitness, Maps and Navigation, or Tools.
What if your servers go down, or the company closes?
If our servers go down, your phone keeps every block, even through a restart, and nothing you asked to unblock comes back while they're down. If we ever close, we'll email you at least 30 days before, refund the unused part of your year, and tell your phone to remove Finite Phone.
How does Finite Phone block apps and websites?
Setup makes Finite Phone the phone's device owner, the Android role made for managing work phones. That lets it hide the apps you block and apply your website blocks to the browser. Your lock screen then says the phone belongs to Finite Phone, Settings says it's managed by Finite Phone, and Android adds its own note that an admin may be able to see your data.
